User types

Individual user

• an individual who has purchased a subscription or access to an ePress publication
• an individual who has been provided with a free subscription or free access to an ePress publication
• an individual who has purchased access to ePress content on a pay-per-article/pay-per-chapter basis
• an individual who is accessing ePress content by virtue of an institutional subscription held by a (third party) institutional subscriber. An example of such an individual user would be staff and students of a University that has purchased an institutional subscription.

Institution

An institution or organisation that has purchased a subscription or access to an epress publication or has been provided with a free subscription, where access is provided by one of the following methods:

• IP address
• proxy IP range
• trusted proxy
• domain

Monash University reserves the right to revise these terms and conditions at any time. These terms were last modified on 7 July 2005.
